The Basement Finish

I didn't get pictures before Todd started framing, but here it is just about all framed in.

It's times like these that I am grateful to be married to a handyman, plus when he decides to tackle a project he gets it done which is good and bad because it becomes all consuming.

These blocks gave Cali hours of entertainment.

We had some friends getting rid of their old solid wood doors.  We sanded them down, (yes we I just don't have any pictures of me helping, but oh I was there) and painted them.  No small task.

 Ta Da!

It is seriously amazing to me how much square footage a basement gives you.  I feel like we just bought another house under our normal house.  We do enjoy our theater room and have a great time inviting friends over for movies or guys over for sports events.

Spring Break

I got brave and took my boys and some friends skiing up at Copper.
Carter did 1 run with me and decided I was too slow so he ditched me with the big boys for the harder slopes and the half pipe.  It was gorgeous up there, almost 45 degrees the whole day.  I met a friend up there teaching her young kids to ski, so I was happy to do some nice slow rides.
We had never been to the Colorado Mills Mall.  It's the only place near us with a lego store.  This mall was awesome and I need to go back one day without kids in tow.

The kids each got a set to come home and work on for the rest of the afternoon.
Todd took off Friday and we went and had lunch at Dave & Busters and played the arcade games.

But, really all my boys wanted to do for their spring break was hang with kids from the neighborhood.
Working on new unicycling tricks for Tanner was the highlight of this vacation.
