Learning to Waterski on Lake Travis

Cliff jumping at Lake Travis.

Tanner & Logan

Yay!  Todd joined the party!  We had plans to go to Sea World, but with it being so hot this was more his cup of tea.

The second day Robyn & Tyler's boat club let us get 2 boats, so Todd drove one and Tyler drove the other.
Miss Mariah and Cali.

I hate to brag, but honestly I had not been on skii's in years and I got up on the first try, plus I am not good at any other sport known to man...so brag I will.

By day 2 at the lake I was itching to teach these kids how to ski.
Here with Tanner getting the jist.
Then with Logan.
And...by the end of the day they were up and at 'em.
I was one proud mama.
This brought back memories of my own dad teaching me to ski.  Holding me straight and steady with tips out of the water, lean back, get out of the chair and fight it until you are up.

Texas barbecue is my f.a.v.o.r.i.t.e.

This sums my Carter up in one photo.  Always the boy just relaxing and looking out thinking.

Ah-ha and by the 3rd day on the lake he was ready to ski and ski he did.

My handsome boys.

Jake is probably the easiest toddler I have ever been around and such a sweet boy.

Happy Birthday to one of my best friends in the whole world.  I don't know where I would be without this girl.  I tell her that she is my fortune cookie, because she is always saying the most profound things that I need to hear.

Chilling at a local water park.
And....back to the lake for a few more hours before we have to leave the next day.
The whole time they were out there Cali was saying to Tanner, "tell them to go faster."  This girl loves speed, so she is clearly not related to me.

Uncle Tyler in the other boat.
I think this is Logan and Mariah, but it's a little bit dark for me to tell.
Carter and Harrison were great buddies on this entire vacation.

Back to cliff jumping in the warmest water I have ever been in, beats Lake Powell hands down.
Me and my Cali.

So thankful to have cousins the same ages as my kids to visit each summer and make memories.

And this about sums it up....a beautiful trip.
