Our New Home in Tucson!
Well after almost 3 months we are finally in a house! We are really enjoying Tucson, although I'm a bit surprised to hear myself asking "is summer almost over?" We live in a beautiful area north of Tucson and surrounded by mountains.

So my neighbors tell me that havalenas get stuck in this courtyard area. Definition a havalena is a wild boar pig. I've never had to look out my front door before I opened it to check for rattle snakes, coyotes and havalena before. Yikes!
I love my kitchen, its the biggest one I've had. We are still unpacking and don't have anything hung up yet but one box at a time right.
I love the openness of this floor plan, it my favorite home yet!

So this is also the biggest bathroom, which I love. Todd and I have opposite sinks, the race is on to see who's can stay the cleanest. He's all into proving that its always been my stuff out, and I would have to agree.

There is this cool loft area for our office.
My boys were a big help in getting through the boxes. I think they counted 150 boxes, not including the stuff brought in without boxes. That would explain my swollen ankles. Its nice to see our stuff again. It was like Christmas watching the kids open their toys.
Tanner's first day of FIRST grade. He was very excited. Carter and I got to walk him in and meet his teacher and see his desk. All day school is a beautiful thing! He is really getting adjusted to the new schedule. When I asked him what subject he likes the best is, he said: lunch, recess, PE and art, but mostly the chocolate milk at lunch.

yay! I was so happy to see an update. The house is drop dead gorgeous. So beautiful. I've been telling my friends about the snakes, wild boars and coyotes- we got pretty good laughs, although I do hope you never get killed my any of those. Crazy! You're gonna have to get yourself a shotgun to carry around.
Cute pics of Tanner. He is so grown up!
Love the house! Looks great! May be out in Tucson in May of next year after all David's training.
