Utah Visit

We did so much fun stuff I've had to chunk it into blog sections. We headed out to Utah the day after Christmas, and boy was it a winter welcome. 11 degrees when we pulled in and windy. Trent and Candice were nice enough to host us at their home and it was just so relaxing. The kids just played and played in my parents 1 acre backyard. When I asked them what they were doing they said they were on a wild turkey hunt. They stayed out there for hours.

Tanner made a snowman and when I looked outside he was pulling branches off my parents pear tree. I told him he couldn't do that and he said "mom the snowman needs arms." Just matter of fact I guess, sadly the snowman had to go it alone without arms.

Jason and Ellie drove down from Logan and the dads took them skiing at Alta. They had a blast, it was Tanners first time. Later Todd said that was his most favorite part of the trip.

On Sunday it was my cousin Kyles mission farewell. My Grandma Potter and my boys.

What handsome boys, more like partners in crime. They are lucky to have such nice cousins.

I know I wish we could have got the our kids together more. We will have to plan it better next time. Its hard to get my kids back in the car for even an hour drive once we've driven 15 hours. Did you see the cute pics of your kids?
