Bright and early we headed out to the airport. I was a little nervous to fly with 3 kiddos by myself but alas my boys were a huge help and everything went off without a hitch.

Even Cali was an angel.

The day after we got there we went to Logans school and ate lunch with him.

The kids got to play outside with him as well for his recess period.

Off to feed the horses, and enjoy that nice Iowa fresh air. We were loving all the green, a nice break from the cactus scenery at home.

Tanner loves his aunt Robyn.

He picked us flowers, he is such a nice boy.

Miss Mariah, what can I say. She and Cali just really hit it off. She was more than willing to hold and hold and hold this Cali girl, and Cali was more than willing to be held.

Day at the beach! This was the nicest day. I even had to give Todd a little call and work and let him know that we were lying on the beach wearing nothing but a smile. Wish he could have been there.

The kids could have stayed all day.

Napping on the beach. Doesn't that just look so relaxing.

We'll just call this picture blackmail, need I say more.

Keeping track of 6 kids is quite the adventure. Ruby and I headed out for some girl time. We went to one of my favorte things to do in Des Moines, Thursday night farmers market.

While Tyler stayed back with the kids and they had themselves a campout in the backyard.

Slip and Slide Time.

I love this action shot of Carter, a man in the moment.

Harrison being a big help to Cali.

Tanner and Logan coming back from the neighbors. So I know I've been to Iowa a lot when I know all the neighbors and my kids know all the kids from years past. Carter would stand at the end of the driveway and wave to cars as they passed. What can I say its Iowa and people are so nice out here.

Looking good, Tyler and Robyn you could so do 5 kids!

Cali was fooled, she never thought her dad was gone, Tyler was Mr Dad for 2 weeks.

Iowa Science Center. Big hit with the kids.

They had an area where the kids could make their own paper airplane and launch it to see how far it could go. Tanner could have lived here for days.

I've never had a baby take to grass quite like Cali, she loved all the pokey green stuff.

Time flies when your having fun. Time to catch more flights home. With a 3 1/2 hour layover in Denver we played some Uno, got some lunch and headed home to a very lonely dad.
I may add more pics later, they are on Rubys camera.
Thanks for all the memories Iowa Mons Family.
