So at 2 AM this morning I wake up as I hear Tanner run across to our room. (I swear I have sensitive ears when I hear my kids get out of bed)
Tanner: "Mom I can hear the coyotes howling."
Me: "Really" (but really thinking are you kidding me you woke me from a dead sleep for this)
Tanner: "You have to come to my room to hear them."
Me: "OK"
Sure enough they were howling and giggling like nobody's business.
At this point he is a little scared to go back to sleep, and I don't blame him those things are loud on that side of the house.
After explaining that his bed was the only one he would be occupying, he was a little bummed but then he had a great idea. "Let wake Dad up and have him come and hear them." I honestly don't think Todd would have appreciated that. In fact I recounted our evening this morning and he was shocked I got up to hear them.
Just another subtle reminder that we are no longer in Kansas, I mean Utah.

just have to click my red heels together 3 times and say 'there's not place like tucsan, there's no place like tucsan, there's no place like tucsan!!!'
holy cow,I mean coyote! They must've been pretty loud, 'cause Tanner's not such a light sleeper.
Just got caught up on all your posts. Love the costumes, especially Dorothy. Click her heels and send her to me pleeeease!!
I think you should have woke Todd up. He would have appreciated that one!
I would have been freaked out! If it makes you feel better I did have to scrap snow off my car yesterday. YUCK!
Gotta love AZ! I think having Coyotes around is cool as long as I'm not running into them out in my yard!
