Carter the Karate Kid. Carter has been taking for a few months now and is loving it, and getting better all the time.
I can tell he has had a boost of self confidence and that was really one of the main reasons I put him in. That and he was asking all the time.
It was the 100th day of school the other day. Carter's teacher wanted them to dress up like they were 100 years old. This was the basic jist until we got up the bus stop and my neighbor loaned me her white hair spray. It was hard watching this old man make it up the bus steps. I even made him do his old man voice to say goodbye.
Tanners 2nd Pinewood Derby. He and Todd worked for many hours on this car, okay mostly Todd. He took 3rd place over all and was very excited about that. Okay, I am not going to lie I am totally a scout nerd mom that I like to see him do well. I put the pressure on when Todd does is working on the car -- all in good fun!

The competitors! I'm always so impressed at all the different styles you can get from a block of wood.
