San Antonio

Kelsey came into town to watch the kids so Todd and I could get away for a few days.  Our hotel was just a few blocks from the River Walk.  We walked this waterway for hours and hours.  We also ate almost all of our meals next to river at different restaurants.

It was nice to getaway and relax!
If you know Todd he is not into visiting historical landmarks, however we did stop by The Alamo.  My dad informed me later that there is a John Wayne movie made about this historical piece of history.  We should have watched it beforehand, because we really could not understand what happened here.  O-well back to the River Walk and eating ice cream while we walk it.  We did drive over and have Sunday dinner with Tyler's family, which was really nice.

Frozen

I don't think Cali has been this excited for a movie to come out in a long long time.  We scheduled a party the day after the movie was released on DVD, just to make sure I had a copy.  We invited a bunch of friends over to watch it on our home theater system.

I jumped on pinterest (a real life saver for a craftless girl like me) and saw a fun idea of how to make Olaf the snowman.  The kids had so much fun.  It was also a fun time to do it when all the older siblings were still in school.

Winter Fun

Every year I think it will be the last that my boys go out and build forts and play in the snow and every year I think "I'm going to miss this!" But, then the following year they are out there again.  It just shows that boys are never too old to go out and build with snow. :)

End of Year Visit to Utah

 Opening gifts with the cousins
Letting Londyn know just the kind of extended family she was born into.

 Awaiting baby Cami Ann!

The number 1 reason Trent likes us to visit is his nephews to play lego's with.

Kelsey is so chill.  It's like 10:30 at night and she decides to feed Londyn peas.  Tanner so wants to stay up to spend time with Londyn, but boy it's an effort for this early bird.

 The Mons Family Christmas party.

Leatherby's with Grandma Lavon.  I love this place.

Going to see Frozen with Kari and her kids.

The kids bought this ship at the lego store and put it together at Trent's house.  While we were out one night the girl friends lego's commandeered the ship.  They couldn't rip the chicks off their ship fast enough.
We also had a fun New Years Eve party with everyone and Stacy and her family, but somehow I forgot to grab the camera.  Good times and great memories for both myself and my kids!
