We watched Joy to the World and pulled out old family movies.
Then everyone got to open one present. Shocker! Pajamas!
The stocking were hung by the Chimney with care. This would be Christmas morning.
Cali so tired, we totally woke her up at 6:00. Tanner tried getting me up at 2:30 AM, that didn't go over very well.
To Tanners surprise, a BB Gun. (can you believe it was on the list)
Carter came out and exclaimed "What a freakin nice bike." To which I had to put down the video camera and explain that we don't use that word.
On to Utah. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Sandy for 5 nights. It was so nice.
One of my favotire parts was going to breakfast each morning, and eating a breakfast that I did not have to cook or clean up after.
Every night we went swimming.

One night Trent, Candice and Kinnedi joined us.
We drank hot chocolate and watch funniest home videos in our room.
Did I mention that is was dang cold outside. I mean dang cold I couldn't stop saying that while I was in town. Tanner thought it was such a novelty to scrape our windshield each morning.
We went to Arctic Circle with Great Grandma Lavon, a fun pasttime my grandma and I used to do a lot when I lived there.
Can I say that its nice to have other kids that will take the baby down the slide.
And Dads too, I guess.
Cali must be a girl, she just wanted to sit here and look at all the Madam Alexander dolls of great grandmas.
She gave Todd this fun motorcycle guy who revvs his motorcycle and shifts side to side by playing Granma got ran over by a reindeer.

Back to Trents, the kids busy with Jace playing with the marshmellow guns. Sorry about the mess Trent.
Bracelets anyone. Tiff and Candice expecting little ones this year

I know that it is seriously ridiculous and pathetic how much I blog about rock band. I can't help it, we are just doing what we love and loving what we do!

Jason and Heather stayed at most awesome hotel by the E Center. It had a water park inside and a waterslide that wrapped around the building. Thanks guys for inviting us over.
Todd and Jason had taken the kids skiing all day. Their poor old bones were in need of some hot tub time.
Cali could stand it not longer I finally had to suit her up too.
Tanners Baptism Day! The highlight of our trip, if it hadn't been for this I would have gone back to warm Arizona 3 days earlier. We are so proud of him and his decision to be baptized.

The kids enjoyed watching the font fill up.
The Mons Family!
The Carter Family!
After we all sat down for a visit and luch. Thanks to Quiznos catering I didn't have to worry about to much.
I went to find Tanner and here is what I found.
I knew Todd would not be far behind.
It truly warmed my heart to see everyone just enjoying being together.

Kels you are such a poser!
Let it be said Cali is going through some kind of separation anxiety. Nobody got to hold her during this trip.
Great Grandmas Lavon Christensen and Betty Potter, whom without we would not be here. I was so thankful that they came.
She rode back with us and stayed for a week. Talking on the phone and getting warmed by the sun, life doesn't get any better.
KELSEY COMES TO TUCSON
We pulled the kids out of school and went to the Desert Museum.
We went back to get our lunch and head over to the picnic tables and just couldn't quite walk there in the heat, so we ate in the trunk.
I loved these rams. Anyone who knows me well knows I am a goat fanatic. Rams are close enough so they will do.

I told Tanner to pretend to ram the goat.
I told Carter the same thing but he didn't hear the "pretend" part. Not so much fun.
Nice!

Tanner literally coming out of his shell.
Meanwhile, back at the warm ranch.
Teaching Kelsey how to cook. Caught on film Kelsey using a garlic press.
Making smores. And a breakthrough, Cali allowing Kelsey to hold her.
Bowling at Bedrocks.

Kelsey and I played Deal or no Deal. The first time through we had the winning case number 13 of course the banker offered 107 tickets or we could pick our case and chance only getting 45. I caved we settled for the 107 when in actuality we had the winneing 200 ticket case. Sorry Kels. It was fun watching the 107 tickets come piling out though.
Cali in the splits position.
Every night she would ask "Is Todd going to take me for a ride?" Every night it was to dark by the time he got home, so Saturday morning she got her ride. Hair flying and all.
Thanks for coming Kelsey we had a blast. I think my most memorable moment was waxing our eyebrows and other areas and screaming like little girls.
p.s. don't be to eager to leave you suds in a bucket....
