Kelsey's Wedding

Thursday morning 3:00 am we headed out with sleepy kids in tow for our 13 hour ride to Salt Lake. Just in time to make an 8:00 Salt Temple endowment for the lady of the hour...Kelsey. Candice greeted us that next morning with chocoloate chip pancakes. A girl after my own heart, anything with chocolate chips has to be good.

On to the weddding. Kelsey and Chris chose the Salt Lake Temple to be married in Saturday morning. It was a beautiful ceremony, and words were shared that I will not soon forget.

We waited and waited outside for Kelsey to get ready to come out.

We really didn't plan on all wearing pink to the temple, promise.

Ahhh, the moment arrives to greet the bride and groom. I handed out wedding bubbles right before.

This pretty much somes up how Cali was feeling an hour later.

Do they not look like missionaries in training or what?

I didn't get a picture with all in attendance, but here is just the Carter clan.

And, then the original Carter Clan or aka the Fabulous Five.

My boys were so helpful keeping this dress up up and out off the dirty ground.
Cali helped for about a second, maybe two.

Cali and Grandpa
Candice and her girls.

Trent did a fantastic job on the new backyard fountain/stream/pond.

The Carter grandkids in a nutshell. I told the photographer I don't care if they are all smiling, just get them all in.

A couple of ex-bachelors. Two minutes before the swing broke...j/k.

The Cake...what can I say this thing was gorgeous. Plus, it was the best tasting cake bar none.

Her wedding line. My mom and I found these dresses the last time I was down, got them for a screaming deal too.
They are so cute, mostly because they are sooooo in love.

Kels pulled out my cake in the face trick here. Wish I had a picture.

Proud parenst, and empty nesters as well.

Chris and his mom share a dance. Chris I think your parents are some of the nicest people I've ever met. Plus, they invited me to come and stay and see the Kentucky Derby which one day I just might do.
Kesey and Dad share a daddy daughter dance. We have the best dad ever.

Woa, impressive is all I gotta say. A wedding is not a wedding without a little swing dancing.

Chris trying to get into his car that Todd totally decorated and jimmy rigged to the hilt. He also went and found the getaway car hiding at a local church and got that one too.
It was a fast fast fast trip, and jam packed with things to be done. Congrats again you guys, we love you!

Looks like a great wedding. Love the cake and that pic of her being thrown around.
Would not be a wedding with out Todd doing something crazy to the car.

It was an awesome day. My favorite was seeing everyone of us all in the Temple that day. What a special day it was for Chris and Kelsey.
