Mons Hotel Open for Business
When we got back from Salt Lake on Sunday night. Tyler's family had already arrived at our house the night before. We walked in to the aroma of a full on turkey dinner that they had cooked up for us. Such a nice surprise.
Monday was the actual 4th of July. A neighbor invited us over for a party. We made festive strawberries thanks to the idea of Candice's when I was in Salt Lake.
We watched a great display of city fireworks from the luxury of our front lawn and did a few of our own.
Then the real fun began. It was party central. We swam, and swam and swam. No pics because we were having too much fun at the pool.
I promised Logan big bucks to help Tanner with some summer homework. He was a patient man and was lucky that it didn't last for too many days before they were distracted with more important fun activities.
While watching this I kept thinking are these boys old enough to make their own bike ramp jumps.
At this point Robyn had flown back to help Tyler look for a house in Austin. I made Logan swear that I would not be making any unplanned visits to the ER. He promised so I let the red neck activity continue.
The girls made necklaces.
Miss Mariah was missing her mama one night so I asked what would make her feel better. Fejuda (I may have spelled that wrong sorry Ruby) it's a brazillian rice and bean dish that her mama makes all the time. Yum! A little comfort food and it hit the spot.

Looks like you all had a blast. I'm glad Robin was able to come and hang. I bet those strawberries were yummy.
